Mr. Boban Joseph, M.Phil
Mr. Boban Joseph has completed his Masters in Social Work and MPhil in Psychiatric Social Work and worked in the clinical settings for a period of 3 three years and he has a research interest in psychosocial interventions in schizophrenia. He is now enrolled as a full time Ph.D. Scholar in the department of Psychiatric Social Work at NIMHANS and also Junior Research Fellow in the DBT funded project on cognitive remediation and its neural effects in schizophrenia under the Department of Clinical Psychology, NIMHANS.
As a Ph.D. Scholar & Junior Research Fellow his Interest is to study ‘Insight & schizophrenia’ and help people with schizophrenia in improving insight into illness thereby improving the adherence to treatment. He is one of the authors for an original study abstract which is accepted for poster presentation for the forthcoming International Early Psychosis Association conference at Tokyo- 2014.
