InSTAR Academics & Training
Academics & Training is a critical component of InSTAR program. Residents in Psychiatry undergo a 3-month modular training program focusing on clinical approach towards metabolic syndrome in schizophrenia. In addition, InSTAR faculty conduct regular bedside clinics with comprehensive discussion on clinical formulation for optimal management of schizophrenia. InSTAR faculty participate in national / international academic programs to deliver lectures on various facets of the program.
InSTAR workshops are regularly conducted towards postgraduate students in psychiatry from several institutes.
Post-doctoral Fellowship
For the first time in the country, one-year post-doctoral fellowship training programme in clinical neurosciences & therapeutics of schizophrenia has been initiated. This is open to candidates that have MD degree in psychiatry with other eligibility guidelines as per the regulations of NIMHANS. This fellowship program provides a unique opportunity to learn cutting-edge clinics and research in schizophrenia.
